RCIL Foundation
The RCIL Foundation was formed in 2003 to oversee Columbia Place Associates and the RCIL endowment. This latest arm of RCIL's family of agencies, which also includes the Learning Disability Association of the Mohawk Valley (LDA), was designed to enhance RCIL's financial stability and increase its capacity to launch pioneering programs and services.
All profits from Columbia Place Associates and proceeds from RCIL's fundraising efforts (for example, the popular wintertime Wonderland of Lights event) are funneled directly into the RCIL Foundation. The Foundation then serves as a flexible, supplemental source of funding for RCIL and LDA's existing programs and future innovations.
