Client Assistance Program

People pursuing vocational rehabilitation often have questions about the many services available to them. RCIL's Client Assistance Program (CAP) provides information, peer counseling, and advocacy for people seeking employment, training, and related services through vocational rehabilitation agencies such as Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID) or the Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH).

CAP consultants work with individuals to&

  • Answer questions concerning a client's or applicant's rights
  • Assist clients in obtaining maximum benefits
  • Serve as liaison between client or applicant and vocational rehabilitation services
  • Provide advocacy and legal services on an as-needed basis for individuals who request our participation in due process services, including administrative reviews, mediations, and fair hearings
