In-Home Respite

Need a break? Caregiving is a physically and emotionally exhausting job. It's important for caregivers to have time for themselves. RCIL's In-Home Respite program enables caregivers of individuals with disabilities -- including Alzheimer's Disease and related disorders -- time to pursue their personal, business-related, or recreational activities outside of the home.

A qualified respite worker will come to your home during the day or evening, any day of the week, to supervise and interact with your family member while you are away. You can feel secure knowing that a trained caregiver will be on hand to monitor your family member's activities and to provide an opportunity for social interaction. The respite worker will even prepare a light meal or snack, if desired.

The In-Home Respite program is offered through RCIL's Elderly Services program, designed to improve the quality of life for adults with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities and to provide assistance and respite for their caregivers through on-site Adult Day Service and in-home programs.
