Description

RCIL is a civil rights organization that offers individuals with disabilities a wide range of independent living and advocacy services through the numerous programs we manage. We are looking for a Self-Direction Broker in our  Amsterdam Office to develop comprehensive person center plans and provide supports to our Self-Direction Participants. The Self-Direction Broker will be responsible for facilitating Circle of Support meetings, creating and updating comprehensive person centered plans of support, developing an individualized budget, screening and help interviewing perspective staff, and attending mandatory meetings and trainings.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of a High School Diploma.  Associate’s Degree in Human Services (or a related field) or Bachelor’s Degree is Preferred. Two years working in the disability field and experience with budgets and habilitation plans is preferred.

This position requires travel. The candidate must have a valid New York State License, a reliable vehicle and a flexible schedule.  

Hourly Wage: $15.38 per hour
