RCIL is a civil rights organization that offers individuals with disabilities a wide range of independent living and advocacy services through the numerous programs we manage. The Coordinator 1 position is supervised by the Self Directed Program Director. Your main focus in this position is to maintain accounting of income and expenses for each individual in the program and provide monthly reporting. Under this position you will maintain consumer files, prepare monthly billing, process time sheets and maintain open communication with consumers and peers. It is imperative that you keep strict confidentiality of data and attend meetings and trainings.

We look for candidates that possess computer skills, critical thinking, excellent organization, oral and written communication and maintains high standards of professionalism.

Successful candidates will have two years clerical and customer service with one year experience in a human services organization and one year experience in a position where independent decision making was required.  You need a minimum of a high school diploma and an Associates’ degree in Secretarial Science, Business or Human Resources is preferred.
