Administrative Assistant - Self-Direction

Description

The Resource Center for Independent Living is excited to announce a new flexible schedule option for employees!  Employees may be eligible to work either Monday-to-Friday 8am-4pm OR extended hours with every other Friday off. 

Self-Direction (SD) is a program funded by the State and Medicaid that allows individuals the ability to live independently in their own homes and the ability to integrate into the community. Each participant as well as each budget are unique. Self-Direction is completely participant-driven. Participants and their Planning Team decide what services will best suit their needs.

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support for the SD Program staff to ensure all needs are kept up to standards.  The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Prepare department letters and mail to participants;
  • Set up binders for new participants and send out packets;
  • Answer telephones, route calls to the proper individuals within the program, and answer routine inquiries; and
  • Copy and mail participant budget reports in a timely manner.

Who may be considered:

Administrative and customer service experience is required.

Strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, experience in Microsoft Office, and organizational skills are required.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Placement: Full-Time

Wages:  $12.82 per hour

Number of Vacancies: 1

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm OR extended hours with every other Friday off
