Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide nursing back-up for the At Home Independent Care (AHIC), a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA)’s full-time RN Case Manager.
    • Functions may include responsibilities such as completion of program intakes, conducting nursing assessments, and the introduction of direct care providers to the individuals receiving LHCSA services.
  • Provide quality inspection of records and notes in accordance with the NY State Department of Health (DOH).
  • Assist with the facilitation of staff trainings, as necessary.

 

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and NY State licensure as a Registered Nurse is preferred. Candidates with an Associates Degree and applicable experience will be considered.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • At least five years of direct nursing experience, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Experience working with older adults and traumatic brain injuries.
  • One year of nursing supervision experience is highly preferred.

 

COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position.  RCIL will engage in the accommodation process when an exemption is requested.
