Start-Up Specialist

Description

Our Self-Direction Department is looking for a Start-Up Specialist to obtain all program-required documentation for new Self-Direction participants.  The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Acquire, review and maintain documents from various sources required for initial (launch) meetings;
  • Track incoming required documentation on appropriate spreadsheets;
  • Maintain regular communication with participants and budget coordinators regarding any needed documentation;
  • Communicate with Human Resources and Self-Direction Supervisor once initial budgets are received; and
  • Accurately enter participants into the electronic timekeeping system.

RCIL is a civil rights organization that offers individuals with disabilities a wide range of independent living and advocacy services through the numerous programs we manage. 

Who may be considered:

Successful candidates will have at least two years of clerical and customer service experience.  One year of experience in a Human Services organization.

Customer service skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, Microsoft Office and computer skills are required.

An Associates Degree in Human Services is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Wages:  $14.36/hour
