Description
Our Advocacy Department is looking for a new Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Assist the Coordinator of Community Relations with all matters related to the Advocacy department and center-wide to include taking minutes at various meetings;
- Collaborate and support Advocacy staff and projects as needed;
- Answer telephones, connect callers with proper individuals within program, answer routine inquires;
- Generate correspondence from dictation, machine transcription, email or handwritten drafts. Draft routine correspondence; and
- Assist in preparing for conferences, workshops or meetings; attend, and take minutes as requested.

Who may be considered:
At least five (5) years’ clerical and administrative experience is required.
An Associate’s Degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Placement: Full-Time
Wages: $12.82/hr.
