In-Home Companion Care Aide (Back-Up)

Description

The In-Home Companion Care Aide Back-Up will provide companion care services to participants of the In-Home Companion Care program in their own home.  The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Assist with daily living skills, light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and socialization skills and opportunities;
  • Provide transportation to desired locations; and
  • Complete notes based on services provided each day.

LIFE @ RCIL is a civil rights organization that offers individuals with disabilities a wide range of independent living and advocacy services through the numerous programs we manage. 

Who may be considered:

A minimum of one-to-two years of experience working with elderly and people with disabilities is required.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge of HIPPA and Dementia/Alzheimer’s is required along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Placement: Per Diem, Six Hours-per-Week, non-guaranteed

Wages:  $12.00/hr.
