Wages: $17.55 per hour / Non-Exempt
Status: Part Time
Shift: Monday (7.5 hours day shift) - additional per diem hours available
Description:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Assist participants with personal care, meal preparation, daily living skills and socialization.
- Ensure participants’ care plans are being implemented on an ongoing basis.
- Provide monitoring and oversight to all participants.
- Ensure a meaningful, enriching environment and experience to participants in a Social Adult Day Program.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred or equivalent experience providing personal care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and the Independent Living Philosophy is required. Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and have a clean driving record.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
