DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL NEEDED Job Requirement: Family of a high-functioning, verbal, and independent 16-year-old twin with autism, located in the great community of Prospect Lefferts Manor in Brooklyn (near Prospect Park) is looking for staff to provide both respite and community habilitation services. Job Requirements: • AA/BA Preferred • Minimum HS Diploma/GED • Some experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities preferred • Must possess a pleasant and caring personality • Must be punctual, reliable, mature, responsible & flexible • Non-smoker • Ability to remain cool under pressure Compensation: • Respite: $15/hr. Monday thru Thursday from 3 pm to 6 pm • Community Habilitation: $18/hr. Friday 3 pm to 7 pm and Saturday from 12pm to 4 pm
