PART TIME EMPLOYMENT Community Aide worker needed to start ASAP for an autistic teen. Provide assistance to a young autistic teen afterschool, summer and some school breaks. Provide social skills, life skills, promote health, support during activities and events, chore assistance, homework support, money budgeting and community volunteering. Mentor and guide for five days a week from 2:15/3:30-5:30-6, 10-12 hours minimum, expected to be Monday through Friday at this time, possible half days from school, time is 11 – 5:30-6. Could possibly include some Saturdays, times could vary. Holiday and school vacation coverage is also needed hours are flexible. Increased hours are possible during school breaks including summer. Must have your own reliable car, pay is $14 per hour, mileage and some expenses will be reimbursed. Experience with autism is expected, with patience and consistency. Looking for an individual with time management skills, reliable and very responsible. Trustworthy and of good moral character. Must be respectful and sensitive to my son and myself at all times. We will consider all applicants. Back ground check will be required with RCIL once selected for employment including basic training. RCIL administers the Life Plan and monitors the plans use, however I am the employer.
