Description
Self Direction participant is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic support staff to assist them with activities of daily living, both in home and out in the community. Staff would assist participant with personal care tasks, helping maintain a clean/tidy living space while at home, assist with making grocery lists, helping with money management, etc.. Staff supports in community would include taking participant shopping to various retail locations, going out to eat, the movies, visiting family/friends, etc.. Staff will need to have reliable transportation and is expected to transport participant to various locations in their own vehicle. Staff will also accompany participant to the gym and assist in working out as well as going for walks around the neighborhood when weather permits. Position is full time- preferably Mon-Fri from 9a-5p. Starting pay rate is 15.00/hr and mileage is reimbursed.
