Seeking a bright, energetic individual to assist middle- aged female adult. Must be reliable and personal. Must provide recent references. Must have valid driver's license with clean record and insurance. Must be willing to allow full background/security check. We are looking for that special person who will feel a sense of satisfaction and pleasure knowing that they are helping another person. This position requires that the individual understands specific training will be given and all tasks will be done efficiently. All tasks will be thorough and completed each shift to provide personal aide. This is a Permanent Part-Time position offering 12.25 hours weekly. Hours will be divided daily. Daily Hours and Days may be partly flexible. We ask that cell phones be used only for emergency situations. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Preparing and cooking healthy, special dietary meals and snacks. Assist with in-home physical exercise routine. Washing, drying, line drying, folding, putting away all laundry, dishes, general household and some occasional deep cleaning. Some personal care, shopping, driving and organizing. Qualifications: Honest, Kind, Quiet, Respectful, Mature Individual with good sense of humor and always good judgment. Must have experience and genuinely enjoy working with person's that have special needs. Valid driver's license with clean driving record and insurance. Reliable transportation. Physically fit -- must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Easily and comfortably climb and decend up to 3 flights of stairs. Excellent communication skills -- fluent in English. Highly proficient at reading and writing in English. High School Diploma and/or GED (College degree and/or therapy student, a plus). Excellent problem-solving skills Self-motivated - does not always need to be told what to do - takes initiative and uses time efficiently. Capable of sharing thoughts, ideas, and providing feedback.
