Description

Self Direction participant looking for staff person to assist them with various activities throughout the community. Staff would assist with shopping, banking, attending medical appointments, and other various leisurely activities within the community. Staff person would need to be able to provide reliable transportation and experience in human services/working with the developmentally disabled is preferred. There are 14 hours available throughout the week (Mon-Fri) and hours/activities would vary from day to day, based on the participants needs. Self Direction is the manager of their own services and would be your direct supervisor. Nearly 100% of support/work hours would be provided within the community, mileage is reimbursed at 50 cents per mile, starting rate of pay is 16.00/hr.
