Description

In search of staff (preferably with a background in human services/working with the developmentally disabled) to work with a participant who just graduated from High School and is looking for someone to work with them. Hours of service would typically take place throughout the week (day, afternoon-evening hours) but some weekend hours could be available (No Holidays). The position is currently considered part time and the rate of pay is $15.00/hr. Job duties would include but not be limited to; assisting the participant with activities of daily living, accompanying and assisting on community activities of the participants choosing- which could include going out to eat, shopping, to the movies or a sport/concert venue, to the gym, out for a hike or kayak ride, etc., as well as providing aid with preparation for possible job/volunteer opportunities. Reliable transportation is required as applicant would be expected to transport participant on community outings. Mileage expense is reimbursed at 0.50 cents per mile.
