SAUQUOIT - New York Hiring college undergrad and grad students with at least 2 years of classes left. Preferably OT/PT/Speech/Child life/Nursing/ Psychology/Recreation and Education majors.... NEED TO Be 18 and have own transportation. You will be scheduled around each semesters different classes per Brett’s needs along with current staff. Weekdays usually 2-9 (or part of) and weekends shifts of 4-6 hours from 9am- 9pm. Pay starts at $12.50 and $15 plus community mileage and recreation reimbursement. You’d be hired for 2 positions within one company- Resource Center for independent Living. Training online and through family. No experience necessary. “BUT” EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE FOR OT/PT/Speech/Child life/Nursing/ Psychology/Recreation and Education majors. Looking for someone soft spoken, positive, patient, interested in taking initiative. You will learn about autism from Brett who is 19. He is developmentally in elementary. He’s nonverbal. He’ll remain in school till 21. No behavior concerns. He enjoys going to movies, out to eat, shopping, technology and swimming! You’ll learn about OT,PT, speech, sensory, and education follow through. Also adaptive community and home life skills.
