RCIL Wellness Logo... Because YOU Matter!

Welcome to the RCIL Wellness section of the website. Here you will find a wide range of information that the Wellness Committee thought you might find helpful. The RCIL Wellness Program's mision is to promote an inclusive and supportive culture that empowers people to make healthier lifestyle choices. 

 

The RCIL Wellness Committee is made up of four subcommittees, each of which focuses on a seperate aspect of wellness. 

 

Physical Activity

The Physical Activity Sub-Committee brainstorms ideas that will benefit RCIL employees with information that will add towards a healthier and fitter lifestyle.

Stress Management

The Stress Management Sub-Committee goals are to come up with innovative ways of how to reduce stress at home, as well as, at work. Stress management encompasses techniques to equip a person with effective coping mechanisms for dealing with stress.

Nutrition

The Nutrition Sub-Committee focuses on promoting education, research and advocacy of all aspects of Nutrition. The fundamental objective of education in nutrition is to help individuals to establish food habits and practice that they are consistent with the nutritional needs of the body and adapted to the cultural pattern and food resources in the area in which they live.

Self-Care

The Self-Care Sub-Committee researches activities and practices that we can engage in on a regular basis to reduce stress and maintain and enhance our short- and longer-term health and well-being. Self-care is necessary for your effectiveness and success in honoring your professional and personal commitments.
