Administrative Assistant

Description

Non-Exempt Salary: $35,000

35 hour work week

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Collaborate and support Advocacy staff and projects as needed.
  • Attend all Advocacy meetings and trainings while taking minutes.
  • Provide back-up, information, and referral services. Complete intakes and enter them into database. Make referrals as needed.
  • Provide back-up to receptionist as needed.
  • Retain and file all correspondence as required to assist in maintaining complaint and up-to-date files.

Education:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Two years of clerical support and administrative experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Office machines including fax, copier, and scanner. Knowledge of ADP is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service , organizational skills, oral and written communication.
