Seasons at RCIL

Seasons at RCIL is an outdoor garden and therapeutic gathering space being constructed at the site of RCIL's Dorothy Smith Center for Advocacy at the corner of Genesee and Scott Streets in Utica, NY. This is the location where RCIL hosts the Social Adult Day services program for elderly and disabled participants. Individuals receive meals and a variety of services such as musical entertainment, an exercise program, arts and crafts, woodworking, interactive games, library, and many others...supporting socializing in a safe, supportive environment. Seasons at RCIL is a sustainable place of rest, contemplation, discovery and joy. It is designed to work in tandem with other community based services offered in-home by RCIL staffs to help maintain independent living. Participants and Elderly Services program staff came up with the idea for the outdoor garden, Seasons at RCIL, as another outlet for activity.

The garden is already being built and together we can watch as it grows and flourishes. Drive down Genesee St. and take a look if you are in the area. Contact us today to find out about the wide selection of donor opportunities! Please call 315-797-4642 or toll-free at 1-800-627-2981 and ask for the Development Office. Anything that you can do to help us complete this wonderful endeavor would be most appreciated.

You don't need a green thumb to help this garden grow!
