Director of Home Health

Description

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide oversight of home health program operations;
  • Supervise program’s Registered Nurse Case Manager, Personal Care Aides and Office Staff; and
  • Review Annual Self-Health Assessments for all Department of Health programs to assure that all personnel are free from any health impairment that is of potential risk to the individual being supported, their family members or other employees.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: A minimum of five years of direct nursing experience along with three years of nursing supervision is required. Experience with older adults and individuals living with brain injuries is highly preferred. Successful candidates must have a knowledge of Medicaid services, rules, and regulations and Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) waiver and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) waiver. A Bachelor’s Degree along with current licensure and registration to practice as a professional nurse (RN) in New York is required.

Salary: commensurate with experience

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

Travel Required: Yes

Location: Utica, NY
