At Home Independent Care is looking for a reliable RN who will back up/assist current RN with licensed home care agency responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing assessments and preform nursing interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality
- Audit/Approve PCA notes
- Cover shifts when necessary
- Rotate on-call coverage with other AHIC staff members (to include some weekends and holidays)
Education: RN required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum three (3) years of direct nursing experience, preferably in a home health care setting, working directly with individuals
- Supervision of other healthcare professionals (PCAs, HHAs,)
- Experience in handling areas involving older adults and working with people with disabilities is required
- Excellent customer services and written/oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License, reliable transportation and acceptable driving record
