Director of Home Health and Senior Services
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide direct supervision, management and operational oversight of the At Home Independent Care (AHIC) Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) and the Many Hearts Senior Care Center structed social day program;
- Ensure that only the highest quality of service, care and support are provided by all team members;
- Monitor all budgets, contracts and grants that are associated with the programs to ensure that utilization and performance targets are met; and
- Execute continuous quality improvement efforts and ensure compliance with regulations and guidance in accordance with the NY State Department of Health (DOH) and Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Candidates must have at least five (5) years of direct nursing experience, preferably in a home health care setting, and a minimum of three (3) years of nursing supervision experience. Two (2) years providing structured day program services, including completion of assessments with individuals with disabilities and/or older adults is also required. Expertise in handling areas involving the aging, working with older adults, traumatic brain injuries and other disability populations is required. A Bachelor’s Degree and NY State licensure as a registered professional nurse (RN) are required.

Shift: RCIL offers multiple schedule options for its staff. Employees can work a flexible schedule with three-day weekends every other week OR a standard 8:00am-4:00pm schedule working from home every other Friday.
