Administrative Assistant - NY Connects & CDPAP

Description

The Administrative Assistant will work with both the NY Connects and Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) departments to provide administrative and system support.  The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Perform administrative duties;
  • Research and communicate with local organizations on services provided to assist with the informational maintenance of the NY Connects Resource Directory;
  • Answer calls and connect callers to proper individuals within the programs in a professional manner;
  • Compile data to create a variety of reports and spreadsheets; and
  • Maintain data systems and conduct data entry.

 

RCIL is a civil rights organization that offers individuals with disabilities a wide range of independent living and advocacy services through the numerous programs we manage. 

Who may be considered:

One-to-two years of receptionist experience is required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone, computer and written and oral communication skills are required.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Placement: Full-Time

Wages:  $14.10 per hour
