RCIL Promotes Vaccination and Offers Free Covid/Flu Testing Kits in Utica and Herkimer

As the cold and flu season approaches, The Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) is stepping up to help keep communities safe and healthy.

The Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) is taking steps to keep local communities healthier this season by encouraging residents to get vaccinated and by providing free cold and flu testing kits in Utica and Herkimer.

RCIL emphasizes the importance of staying up to date on vaccinations as a simple and effective way to prevent the spread of illness and protect vulnerable populations. In addition, the organization is distributing free at-home covid and flu test kits, making it easier for individuals and families to identify symptoms early and take precautions to reduce transmission.

The initiative is part of RCIL’s ongoing efforts to support community well-being and ensure resources are accessible to everyone.
