Independant Services

Everyone has rights and choices. At RCIL, we believe that no matter how old you are or what your level of ability is, you have the right to live independently and make your own choices.

Consumer Directed In-Home Services (CDIS)

Are you over the age of 60 and still living at home? Do you need help performing everyday activities like bathing, dressing, and housekeeping, shopping, and cooking? If so, Consumer Directed In-Home Services (CDIS) might be able to provide the help you need to be able to grow old in the comfort of your own home!

Have your loved ones started mentioning the possibility of you having to move into a nursing home or other type of long-term care facility? In an effort to avoid, or at least delay, the need for you to move into more expensive Medicaid funded nursing homes, this program provides services and caregivers right in the comfort of your own home!

With Consumer Directed In-Home Services (CDIS), you’ll have the freedom to choose, train, and manage your own staff instead of having the state do the hiring on your behalf. Which is great because it gives you the opportunity to hire people like your family members or a trusted friend and be able to pay them for their caregiving services!
