OPWDD Eligibility & Application Assistance

Eligibility and Application GuidanceLiving Independently is For Everyone (LIFE at RCIL) Youth Services has Educational Advocates who can provide assistance with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) Eligibility Process, working toward the goals of identifying needs, completing paperwork, planning and/or scheduling evaluation/testing, facilitating transportation, and providing referrals.

Families will be supported throughout the entire process, ensuring that they have all necessary information and a full understanding of the steps involved, including the development and submission of an eligibility packet to OPWDD.

Educational Advocates will also assist families to understand what services may be available to them as well as empower family members to become strong advocates for their loved ones.
