National Epilepsy Awareness Month: “All In” for Inclusion, Education, and Support
November marks National Epilepsy Awareness Month, and this year’s theme—“All In” for Inclusion, Education, and Support—is more than a slogan; it’s a movement. At RCIL, we stand united in raising awareness, breaking down barriers, and empowering the 3.4 million Americans living with epilepsy. Together, we can transform understanding into action and create a world where everyone affected by epilepsy feels seen, supported, and included.
During November, we at RCIL join in recognizing National Epilepsy Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, break down stigma, and support the 3.4 million Americans living with epilepsy. This year’s theme, “All In,” is a call to action: to unite, commit, and make a difference for individuals and families affected by this neurological condition.
Why Awareness Matters
Epilepsy can affect anyone, regardless of age, race, or background. It is characterized by recurrent seizures caused by abnormal electrical activity in the brain. These seizures can vary in type and severity, impacting daily life, independence, and mental health.
Stigma and lack of understanding often create barriers to employment, education, and social inclusion. By learning the facts and sharing knowledge, we can help build a more supportive and inclusive community.
How RCIL Supports the Epilepsy Community
At RCIL, we believe that every person deserves access to care, resources, and opportunities for independence. During National Epilepsy Awareness Month, we are committed to:
Promoting Inclusion: Advocating for policies that protect the rights of people with epilepsy.
Connecting Resources: Linking individuals and families to support services and healthcare options.
How You Can Get Involved

Every Action Counts
