We’ve all got places to go. Let’s get On the Move together!

Announcing the launch of a new, local transportation service: On the Move.

On the Move is your friendly way to get where you need to go, complete with personal touches that only a local organization can provide. Equipped with accessible vehicles and drivers trained to give riders door-to-door mobility support, On the Move gives you the freedom you need to live the life you want on your terms. Founded by local nonprofit RCIL, On the Move was developed with our community’s needs in mind. Book your ride today! (Phone number and/or link coming soon. Stay tuned for updates!)

Why Choose On the Move?

  • Easy Booking, Easy Riding: Schedule rides with our easy-to-use app (soon to be announced) or give us a call at (soon to be announced). Opt in for helpful reminders to alert you when On the Move is about to arrive!
  • Accessibility is Automatic, Not an Afterthought: On the Move’s fleet includes multiple accessible vehicles. Whether you use a wheelchair or walker, whether you have visual or hearing impairments, or whether you have a different need related to your disability, On the Move will accommodate you.
  • Door-to-Door Mobility Support: On the Move offers what many ride-hailing services don’t— personalized support and safety. Whereas other services require riders to enter and exit the vehicle without aid, On the Move will help riders with vehicle entry/exit. Our drivers are specially trained to support you throughout your journey from pick-up to drop-off.
  • Transparent Pricing: $15 base charge + $3.00 per mile traveled.
  • Available hours: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Drop‑Off Flexibility: We can take you almost anywhere — including Syracuse Hancock International Airport, Destiny USA, and other regional destinations. If you’re unsure whether we serve your location, call us and we’ll be happy to check.

Get up. Get out. Get On the Move!

Children must be accompanied by an adult (ages 18+) to ride. On the Move is a non-emergency transportation service. If you are experiencing an emergency, please seek qualified assistance by calling 911.
