HELP WANTED - Personal Care Aide (No Experience Needed - Will Train)

We are currently seeking dependable, compassionate individuals to
assist with the care of a young woman with special needs. No prior
experience is necessary — we are willing to train the right person.

Details:
• Pay: $18.65 per hour - paid weekly - Shift differential offered for
overnight shifts.
• Full Time and Part Time positions available.
• Schedule: We are looking for someone with schedule flexibility.
Overnights and Weekends are the primary shifts available, some
evenings.
• must be available to work on alternate weekends if needed
• Some day and midday coverage may be needed by consumer.
• Location: Norwich, NY
• PPL (Public Partnerships LLC): Wages are paid through PPL. If you
are already enrolled with PPL, that’s a plus!
• Driver's License and reliable vehicle for transport would be a plus.

Com hab needed for very sweet funny verbal autistic 21year old man. He loves to be out in the community. He likes to go to movies, dances,arcades,train shows, plays and to Target and the beach. We are in need of a kind, trustworthy person to take him off the bus and bring him into the community. He also needs help with ADL's . We hope to find somebody during the week from 3 to 7 and can be flexible with hours over the weekend or school vacations.

He has a home health care aide in the house, but he needs a Comm Hab staff to help him access the computer, the community and to learn to do tasks that he cannot do now on his own. Helping 83 y/o male to live at home. He gets around in electric wheelchair and can do most things himself but has needed help to get dressed, laundry and cooking/cleaning as he is unable to stand well. Have a worker for days, but need an evening help to make sure he eats, showers, and takes evening meds. He has a foley and hearing aids he manages himself. Flexibility to self-schedule about 10 to 16 hrs (ex. 4p -6p) and pick more if other care worker unable to do their 10.

Seeking someone to help 83 yr. old male vet. January 23- March 30, 2026. 2- 3 hours(11:00-2:00)Monday-Thursday. Could develop into a long term position after March 30, with or without more hours of care. Minimal care is needed. Microwave meals, light clean-up duties, some light laundry(appliances on site), possible occasional errand/trip to store(4blocks away). We shop, do a lot of work when possible to keep him out of a home and on his own. Some mobility issues, but client is fairly independent. Easy assignment, no transfers, shots, feeding, etc. Nice guy, story teller.

Description

Staff will help me get out of bed every week day morning. I will need bed bathed, diapered, dressed , and hoyer lifted into my wheelchair. Once in my wheelchair, staff will fix me breakfast then we can go out to do whatever activities we have planned.

I use a wheelchair van to go out in public. The job is 25 hours a week. 9 am to 2 pm. Staff need to know how to properly hook my wheelchair into a wheelchair spot. Questions, call 518-313-2461
