Program Aide (PCA Certified)

Description

Wages: $17.55 per hour / Non-Exempt

Description:

The successful candidate will be expected to: 

  • Assist participants with personal care, meal preparation, daily living skills and socialization.
  • Ensure participants’ care plans are being implemented on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide monitoring and oversight to all participants. 
  • Ensure a meaningful, enriching environment and experience to participants in a Social Adult Day Program. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities 
  • Candidates must have a Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification or equivalent experience providing personal care.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and the Independent Living Philosophy is required.  Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and have a clean driving record.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
