This presentation will offer strategies and suggestions for supporting students with challenging behaviors, including:      

  • Summary of legal rights,
  • Positive behavior supports,
  • Student discipline, and  
  • Use of physical restraints or seclusion.

 

  • Will also provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 on Special Education Law.  

Presenter: Patrick Radel is an attorney with the law firm Getnick Livingston Atkinson & Priore, LLP in Utica. Mr. Radel represents families and students in special education law.

Legal Education will be provided. If you need Legal Advice, an attorney should be retained or consulted who is admitted to practice in your jurisdiction.
