This presentation will offer strategies and suggestions for supporting students with challenging behaviors, including:
- Summary of legal rights,
- Positive behavior supports,
- Student discipline, and
- Use of physical restraints or seclusion.
- Will also provide an update on the impact of COVID-19 on Special Education Law.
Presenter: Patrick Radel is an attorney with the law firm Getnick Livingston Atkinson & Priore, LLP in Utica. Mr. Radel represents families and students in special education law.
