Working under the supervision of the Executive Vice President, this position will assist in the overall direction of Human Resources functions, with a focus on employee benefits.
Job Duties:
- The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Supervise, assist, and work with Human Resources Benefits and Coordinator staff.
- Assist with the creation and update of Agency policies, handbooks, practices, and processes.
- Interact with all RCIL supervisors to assist with interviews, corrective action, performance reviews, and employee relations issues.
- Remain up-to-date on all benefit-related and Human Resource regulations and rules.
- Oversee the Human Resources Department in the absence of the Executive Director.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum of three-to-five years of Human Resources experience working with employee benefits, payroll support, policies, audits, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of employee benefits, corrective action processes, employee relations, and other Human Resources functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with policy and handbook development.
Education:
- A College Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
