Working under the supervision of the Executive Vice President, this position will assist in the overall direction of Human Resources functions, with a focus on employee benefits.

Job Duties:

  • The successful candidate will be expected to:
  • Supervise, assist, and work with Human Resources Benefits and Coordinator staff.
  • Assist with the creation and update of Agency policies, handbooks, practices, and processes.
  • Interact with all RCIL supervisors to assist with interviews, corrective action, performance reviews, and employee relations issues.
  • Remain up-to-date on all benefit-related and Human Resource regulations and rules.
  • Oversee the Human Resources Department in the absence of the Executive Director.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of three-to-five years of Human Resources experience working with employee benefits, payroll support, policies, audits, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, corrective action processes, employee relations, and other Human Resources functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with policy and handbook development.

Education:

  • A College Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
