Starting Pay Rate: $17.95 per hour

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Engage, assess and assist with work activity requirements for individuals with disabilities seeking services from the Herkimer Department of Social Services (DSS).
- Develop a plan for employment with the individual addressing interests, needs, etc.
- Monitor status to ensure community linkages remain in line with individual’s goal.
Education:
- A College Degree is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act, DSS, and other Community Service Agencies.
- Strong communication skills.
The COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for this position. RCIL will engage in the accommodation process when an exemption is requested.

Travel Required: Yes
Location: Herkimer, NY
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-5:00pm. Hours vary depending on Herkimer DSS hours.
