Accounts Payable Clerk

Starting Pay Rate: $17.95

Benefits:

Job Duties:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Review all invoices, reimbursement forms for accuracy, assign proper general ledger coding, obtain necessary approvals, and enter into the accounting system.
  • Work closely with purchasing and programs to process invoices in a timely manner.
  • Process all accounts payable Direct Deposits and checks with appropriate signatures.
  • Answers all vendor and departmental inquiries.
  • Update/Add Direct Deposit information into the accounting software for vendors.
  • Update and maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and digital files.
  • Assists in monthly closings and update monthly accounts payable reconciliations.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.

Education:

  • Associates degree in accounting or business management preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of two-to-three years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Work cohesively within a team environment, while maintaining accountability for specific responsibilities.
  • Computer, organizational, analytical, accurate typing, general math, interpersonal, oral and written communication, intermediate excel knowledge
