At Home Independent Care (AHIC) is seeking caring and dependable staff who will demonstrate compassion for our individuals and who hold themselves accountable to the highest quality of care. We strive to keep consistency with schedules and individuals, because consistency is the key to success.

Job Type: Hourly

Shifts: Evening, Overnights, and Weekends available

Locations: Rome, Utica, Oneida, and more

Requirements: Minimum of six months’ experience working in a home care setting within the current year. Excellent communication skills. Reliable transportation for daily travel, New York State Driver License and acceptable driving record are required. Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. Must meet medical requirements of the program prior to hire. High School diploma or GED.

Preferred: Certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
