Description

Self-Direction participant seeking mentor/staff for 10-15 hours per week. Ideal candidate will have good communication and organizational skills, patience as well as positive energy to participate in various activities both at home and out in the community. Participant enjoys going shopping, hiking, out to eat, as well as attend various community inclusions. At home, candidate would various activities from assistance with completing various household chores to working on art and craft projects. Candidate would be expected display proper role modeling skills at all times and assist with working on valued outcomes, as assigned in participants Staff Action Plan (working on independent living skills, socialization skills, etc.). Experience working the special needs population is preferred but not required. Pay rate begins at 19.00/hr with mileage and certain activity fee reimbursements as well. Drivers License and reliable transportation to bring participant on community outings is required. 10-15 hours per week are available for afternoons/weekends and the hours/times are flexible.
